We have a major diesel engine licenser in Europe and have close contact with the market. We have offered our expertise to Vokes Limited in England and have delivered strong and reliable results. Meanwhile, international standards related to quality based on the British Standards Institution BS are rapidly attracting attention, and we have decided to introduce these standards because our investigation has shown that they are well matched to our standard.

●ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM【ISO14001】
We were selected as one of ten model enterprises by Japan Small and Medium Enterprise Corporation and addressed construction of an environmental management system as a test case; as the result, we obtained ISO 14001 Certification in October 1999. Although our company is not large, we assume information disclosure is our obligation as long as our business activities influence the environment. Considering that information related to environmental protection is one of the most important elements in the accountability of an enterprise, we will continue to disclose such information faithfully. In addition, through education and involvement of all employees in environmental protection activities, we hope that our individual employees will help to gradually increase awareness in their homes and communities, and spread this awareness worldwide.
